The FA Cup 4th round is the highlight of the weekend and it’s safe to say some of the team in the office have found themselves with nothing to look forward too. The United lads where first to be shocked going out to Leeds – which in turn gave the Liverpool lads some ammo to give some stick out. Unfortunately for the Liverpool lads it was a case of shouting too soon, as when Reading ended up knocking them out that in turn gave the ammo back to the Man U lads.
It was all fun and games and one of the funniest I heard was so simple. One of the most ardent Liverpool fans came in the morning after getting knocked out, looking a little worse for wear – we will call it Alcohol related!
He sat at his desk for the colleague facing to comment “Alright Otis”, in reference to Otis Redding. The response was short, two words to be honest, second one being “off”.
Anyhow that was the 3rd round, so what about the 4th round, will there be a shock, if so from where? The romantic win would be cash starved Accrington Stanley taking out Fulham. Or can Leeds do it again with a win at White Hart Lane?
It has been noted that Birmingham at 4/1 could be a big price at Everton, I’m not so sure as Everton were good against City. What about West Brom v Newcastle who have been at it in the Championship, they fought out a 2-2 draw just last week. It may well be the Goals Galore coupon could be an easier shout than actually finding the winners.
