Noah keen to improve for Bulls

Chicago Bulls star Joakim Noah feels he needs to step up his game if he is to help his side get past the Washington Wizards in the play-offs (Chicago Bulls 66/1 – NBA Championship Outright).

The Bulls lost the opening two games of the best of seven series but reduced the deficit to one with victory in game three.

Noah has come in for some criticism for his performances against the Wizards and the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award winner admits he needs to improve.

“They’re pressuring me a lot, a lot more than usual,” Noah is quoted as saying by ESPN. “I have to do a better job of making sure I don’t turn the ball over. They’ve been doing a good job with that, and I think it’s been giving them a lot of easy points in transition and things like that, so I definitely have to do a better job of not turning the ball over.”

The Bulls have been boosted ahead of game four, which takes place on Sunday, as Washington will be without the suspended Nene.

The star power forward has been banned following an altercation with Jimmy Butler in game three, and his absence should allow Noah to influence the game more.

The Bulls are 11/8 to win the series and the Wizards are priced at 4/7, while a 4-2 Chicago series win is 11/2.
