England fly-half Jonny Wilkinson has declared himself fit for the Six Nations clash with France as the Red Rose look to deny the home side the Grand Slam (France 1/5) on Saturday.
The Toulon ace was forced off early in the second half at the weekend as England were held to a 15-15 draw by Scotland at Murrayfield.
Wilkinson collided with two Scottish players four minutes after the restart and was replaced by Toby Flood, but he is ready for the game against the all-conquering French.
The 2003 World Cup winner said: “I’ve a stiff neck and I’m sore.
“But I’m definitely fit for selection.”
France beat Italy comfortably on Sunday to give themselves the chance of a first Grand Slam since 2004.
