Pryce is right for family affair

Karl Pryce 300x199 Pryce is right for family affairKarl Pryce has an added incentive to help Bradford Bulls defeat Catalans Dragons (Bradford 10/11, Catalan 10/11, Draw 16/1 Match Betting 80 Mins) in Friday’s Stobart Super League opener as he is set to go up against his brother Leon at Odsal.

The 25-year-old was hoping that Leon would be joining him as part of the Bulls’ squad for this upcoming campaign when there was speculation that he would move across the Pennines to West Yorkshire after departing St Helens at the end of his contract last term.

However, Leon felt his chances of success would be enhanced with the Dragons (16/1 Grand Final Outright) and decided to become the club’s first English signing.

Leon is now looking to shake off a hamstring injury in time for the trip to Bradford, while Karl is desperate for him to be fit so he can show him at first hand that he made an error by snubbing the Bulls (66/1 Grand Final Outright).

“I think he had the opportunity to come back but he chose something different, a new challenge, maybe a more difficult challenge with the language barrier,” Karl said.

“For Leon to move out of his home town is something I thought he would never do but he seems happy.”
