Huddersfield prop Eorl Crabtree says his side’s sparkling start to the Super League season is down to their new positive outlook ahead of Saturday’s game against the Warrington Wolves (Huddersfield 15/8, draw 20/1, Warrington 2/5 – Match Betting).

The giant forward and a number of his team-mates have been taking part in recent sessions with sports psychologist Karl Morris and the 29-year-old believes their new mindset will finally see them transform into genuine Grand Final contenders after a number of strong seasons.

Nathan Brown’s side have challenged for both cup and league honours in the last few years before fading in the final stages, but are now being tipped to go all the way in 2012 after winning away at Wigan and demolishing Widnes in their opening two matches of the campaign.

England international Crabtree began working with Morris in the off-season and despite only spending a few sessions together, the prop says he is already reaping the benefits.

‘Big Eorl’ believes that Morris’ input could have a big impact on the Giants’ season and is hoping their new outlook will make the difference at the business end of Super League (Giants 16/1 – Regular Season Outright).

“He’s definitely got a say on how to better prepare yourself and it’s worked with me,” said Crabtree,

“It’s worked for a few other boys as well. As long as you buy into his ideas, they will benefit you.”
