Happy Easter commits to Quins

PA 6597263 300x199 Happy Easter commits to QuinsAviva Premiership leaders Harlequins (7/2 – Grand Final Outright) have been boosted by the news Nick Easter has committed his future to the club for the rest of his playing days.

The England international has notched up an impressive 42 tries in 162 appearances for the London outfit and has been in decent form this season, with the club looking strong in the Premiership.

Easter was unlucky not to make the England squad for the current Six Nations campaign, with interim head coach Stuart Lancaster overlooking the 33-year-old for the tournament, with the emphasis on a fresh start for the national side.

The talented No.8 has penned a new three-year deal at the Twickenham Stoop as he hopes to help Quins (5/4 – Regular Season Winner) secure the Premiership title this term.

He said: “Harlequins is a club that allows you to express yourself on the pitch.

“We’re playing an attractive style of rugby that is not only producing positive results, it’s also enjoyable to be part of.

“I’m looking forward to contributing to the ongoing success of the team and to winning more silverware for the club and its supporters.”

Quins currently sit three points clear at the top of the table from defending champions Saracens and look in a great position to qualify for the play-offs this season.
