Late changes for Exiles

The Exiles’ plans for the Origin Series clash with England have bit hampered after Daniel Anderson’s men were forced into two late changes (England 10/11, draw 18/1, Exiles 10/11 – 80 minutes).

Captain Brett Hodgson and also Setamaita Sa have both been ruled out of the game at St Helens’ Langtree Park, with Shannon McDonnell drafted into the side while David Fa’alogo is promoted from the bench.

Fa’alogo’s place is taken by Epalahame Lauki while Patrikc Ah Van will act as cover for the representative side and Thomas Leuluai will skipper the side on Hodgson’s absence.

England have named two new faces in their side in the shape of Josh Charnley and Carl Ablett while Lee Mossop will make his international debut off the bench at some point.

“Josh has been in scintillating form with Wigan and deserves his place in the team,” McNamara said.

“I have been pleased with the partnership he is forging with Carl Ablett and they are looking a formidable pairing on the right.”

The second and concluding Origin Series game takes place at Huddersfield’s Galpharm Stadium on Wednesday, July 4.

Both sides are evens in the Half-Time Result market while England are 9/2 shots to shade the game by less than five points.
