Captain Ryan Jones has warned the doubters not to write off Wales (16/1 Outright) in the Six Nations following their opening loss to England (11/4).
The Welsh went down to a 30-17 defeat at Twickenham on Saturday as they paid the price for lock Alun-Wyn Jones’ sin-binning before closing to within three points late on.
But Martin Johnson’s men powered away to seal the win – thanks to a late James Haskell try – to leave Wales facing a crunch home clash with Scotland (50/1) at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday.
However, skipper Jones warned: “I don’t think we were beaten by a better team (England), but a team that played better on the day in parts.
“We could have grabbed it at the end – the momentum changed in the second half.
“You can’t afford to write us off in the tournament yet with four games to play.”
