Steve McNamara has named an unchanged side for England’s Four Nations clash with Australia (Match Betting – England 9/2, draw 25/1, Australia 1/7), who will welcome back Greg Inglis to their starting line-up.
Coach McNamara has been pleased with England’s displays in the last two weeks, the warm-up win over France and the 42-4 victory against Wales, and believes continuity could be key.
The selection means Kevin Sinfield and Rangi Chase will continue their half-back partnership, with Melbourne Storm ace Gareth Widdop among the replacements.
Opponents Australia (2/7 – Four Nations Outright) have been forced to make two changes to their side, with Willie Tonga and David Shillington missing the Wembley showdown through injury.
South Sydney centre Inglis is fit again after a two-month injury absence and is the automatic replacement for Tonga, but coach Tim Sheens is still considering who will come in for prop Shillington.
Billy Slater will start again at full-back after being named international player of the year for a second time this week.
