David Moyes claims Everton need to perform if they are to take anything from their game at Old Trafford this evening (Everton 15/2 to win on Betfred match coupon).
The Toffees are currently sitting in 12th spot in the Premier League and defeated West Ham 2-1 at Upton Park on their last outing, but have not won at Old Trafford since 1992.
Moyes is calling for his players to go out and perform against Manchester United (2/5 for victory, 10/3 draw on match coupon) and not freeze on the big stage.
He added it would be difficult for his side as United have a number of high-quality players, and their job is not helped by injuries to key trio Phil Neville, Leon Osman and Steven Pienaar which will see them miss the game.
Russian midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov is suspended for the tie but Moyes remains optimistic that his side can get a result.
“I’m sure we can win there. We’ve tried every time we’ve been there and every game I go into I think we are going to win,” said the Scotsman.
Manchester United will be looking to get back to winning ways and put their Premier League title ambitions back on track after defeat at rivals Chelsea last time out (United 3/1, Chelsea 5/6 for the title on outright coupon).
Nemanja Vidic is due to return to the starting line-up, while Gary Neville is suspended.
John O’Shea and Jonny Evans are out injured and there are doubts over Dimitar Berbatov (4/1 first goalscorer on match coupon) and Michael Carrick.
