Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner wants to make up for a season of disappointment with the Gunners by winning the World Cup with Denmark (100/1 Outright).
The north Londoners have ended up empty-handed again this season but Danish hot shot Bendtner is nothing if not confident ahead of South Africa 2010.
He told FIFA’s website: “It’s important that we stay realistic. Of course we’re going there to win the tournament, but having said that, we don’t have the same means as other big countries.
“We are only a small country of five million people, not 50 million, and we must recognise that we’re not travelling to South Africa as the best team in the world.
“However, we’ll do our very best. Denmark have produced plenty of upsets in football history, so why not again?”
Denmark (Evens - To Qualify From Group) are in Group E along with Holland, Cameroon and Japan.
