Zola won’t compromise style

The Hammers are currently 11/8 to be relegated after their worse run of form this season, their goal difference being the only thing currently keeping them out of the relegation zone.

Zola has come under increasing pressure following their recent run of results, with the ex-Italian international flying to Sardinia last week to consider his future.

The former Chelsea star has now said he will fight on until the end of the season, starting with Sunday’s trip to Goodison Park.

Everton (33/1 to win the league without the big four) have been on an excellent run of late, losing just two of their last 18 matches in the Premier League as they mount a late charge for Europe.

They also boast an excellent record against the Hammers, losing just one of their last eight encounters with the east Londoners.

Despite Everton having beaten the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United at Goodison Park this season Zola has said he won’t change his tactics and still plans to play an attacking brand of football.

I won’t change it,” he said when asked about altering his tactics. “I will try to find solutions that guarantee some results.

“I’m here – and I’ve decided to fight to the end for these players.”
