Wenger warns of title “danger”

Arsene Wenger has challenged his Arsenal players to keep their concentration levels to avoid putting their Premier League title push “in danger” (Chelsea 10/11 Man United 5/2 Arsenal 4/1 Premier League – Outright).

The Gunners needed a stoppage-time goal from substitute Tomas Rosicky to salvage a 2-2 draw against Everton on Saturday and missed the chance to pile the pressure on leaders Chelsea at the top of the table.

Emirates boss Wenger was annoyed his players passed up the opportunity to close the gap and knows any mistake is likely to be punished.

The north Londoners were 13 points adrift when they humbled 3-0 by Chelsea in November and Wenger is determined not to get cut adrift again (Arsenal 1/12 – Top 4 Finish).

“Of course, I would have signed for that, to be this close in the race,” said Wenger,

“But you could see from this match that every game is difficult and as soon as you drop your level a little bit, you are in danger.”
