Wenger confident of victory

PA 8170118 Wenger 300x196 Wenger confident of victoryArsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes if his side play to their full potential they will beat Bolton (9/2 to beat the Gunners in the match betting) no matter what Owen Coyle’s men do.

The Gunners (4/7 to win on Sunday’s coupon) travel to the Reebok Stadium on Sunday needing a victory to keep up with fellow title contenders Manchester United and Chelsea after they both won on Saturday.

Arsenal will close the gap on league leaders Chelsea (8/11 to win the Premier Legue) to three points if they can beat Bolton but despite having Cesc Fabregas back they are likely to have their work cut out against the Trotters.

Coyle will be taking charge of his first game since completing his controversial switch from Burnley and will want to get his managerial reign off to the perfect start against the Gunners.

While Bolton (3/1 to be relegated) have won just one of their last nine league matches Coyle’s arrival will have no doubt lifted the Wanderers players who have a decent record against Arsenal at home.

However, despite Coyle taking charge Wenger feels his side should have too much for Bolton as they bid to keep their title dreams alive.

“Any team is awkward (to play) in the league at the moment. Every team is highly motivated against us. We are used to that. But if we play at our best we can win whatever happens to Bolton,” said Wenger.

While Arsenal will be without Nicklas Bendtner, Robin van Persie, Alex Song, Emmanuel Eboue and Kieran Gibbs Fabregas (13/2 to be first goalscorer) and Gael Clichy’s (33/1) return will give the Gunners a much need boost.

Sol Campbell should be on the bench for Wenger’s men after completing his move back to Arsenal but Denilson and William Gallas are doubtful having picked up knocks last week in the 2-2 draw with Everton.
