Warnock plots Wanderers upset

Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has his sights set on three points against struggling Championship rivals Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium on Tuesday night (Championship coupon – Bolton 10/11 draw 12/5 Leeds 3/1).

Leeds are unbeaten in their last three fixtures in all competitions and sit in ninth place in the Championship table, just one point off the play off places.

In contrast Bolton have struggled following their relegation from the Premier League and slipped to a demoralising home loss at the hands of Crystal Palace last time out.

However, Warnock feels 18th placed Bolton will provide a big test for his side but the Elland Road chief is confident his side can come away from the Reebok Stadium with all three points (Championship outright – Bolton 10/1, Leeds 14/1).

“They have good players, a good squad, and you know you are going to be in for a game and we don’t kid ourselves about that,” Warnock told the club’s official website.

“We go and try and win every game, that’s how we are.  We don’t go anywhere negative.  Sometimes injuries determine how you go about it, but as I’ve always said we can give anyone a game.”

Leeds will be without striker Ross McCormack (ankle) and midfielder Paul Green (knee) for the trip to Bolton but midfielder David Norris has recovered from a thigh problem after over a month on the sidelines.

Bolton will be without left-back Marcos Alonso, meaning Stephen Warnock should start in his place, but forward Benik Afobe is available following a groin problem.
