Both sides have impressed in the prestigious European tournament so far, and both clubs will be looking to win their fourth Champions League title this weekend.

The current Barca side are considered by many to be the best club side in the world, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Xavi in their star studded ranks.

Scholes has admitted that this Catalan side are at the top of their games but has also insisted United have a very capable outfit of their own.

The 36-year old believes the Red Devils (15/8 to win the 2011/2012 Premier League title) can match their Spanish opponents and win a historic double, having already lifted the Premier League trophy this season.

He said: “There is no doubt the two best teams have made it to the final.

“Both teams want to go forward and score goals, so I don’t think anyone could ask for a bigger or a better final.”
