Louis Saha is confident he can make an instant impact at Tottenham (14/1 –  Premier League Outright) following his deadline day move, and he could be thrown straight into the first team.

The Frenchman made a surprise move from Everton to White Hart Lane just before the transfer window closed, with many feeling he will be Harry Redknapp’s fourth-choice striker.

But with Spurs facing several injury problems at present, Saha could be handed an instant debut against Liverpool on Monday (Match Betting - Liverpool 11/10, draw 12/5, Tottenham 13/5).

Jermain Defoe is rated as “extremely doubtful” for the clash at Anfield, while Rafael van der Vaart and Emmanuel Adebayor are struggling with calf and hamstring problems respectively.

Tottenham say they have been impressed by the impact Saha, who has just one league goal to his name this season, has had in training since his arrival.

Saha himself is looking forwad to playing in an “attacking side” and has high hopes of success during his time at Spurs.

The former Fulham and Manchester United man said: “They always look for movement of the striker.

“There is quality everywhere on the pitch, from the goalkeeper to the top. There is so much quality and confidence about the team’s play, it’s amazing.”
