Harry Redknapp has set his Tottenham players the challenge of finishing third in the Premier League this season (Tottenham 3/1 Without Big 4) – starting with victory over Aston Villa on Saturday.
The north Londoners (Tottenham evens draw 12/5 Aston Villa 11/4 Premier League match betting) can move to within four points of third-placed Arsenal if they beat fellow Champions League hopefuls Villa at White Hart Lane on Saturday and Redknapp is convinced places are up for grabs.
Liverpool, Manchester City and Villa remain in the hunt for a top-four place too but Redknapp feels Tottenham could even usurp rivals Arsenal and finish one better.
He said: “Someone could get third spot. Manchester City could. We could. Liverpool could. Anyone is capable with a run. Arsenal are not 100% sure to be there if they get beaten by Chelsea (on Sunday) and other teams pick up good results.
“Arsenal are favourites but it is not impossible for anyone to catch them, there could be a five or six-point turnaround. We thought that Chelsea were running away with it, but now look at it. Wide open again.”
