Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed Frank Lampard has recovered from his hernia operation and will be fit to face West Ham on Saturday (West Ham 13/2, Chelsea 1/3 Match Betting).
The midfielder has had surgery in the last couple of weeks and was forced to pull out of the England squad for the games against Bulgaria and Switzerland (England 4/5, Switzerland 11/4 to win).
There were fears the Blues star would also have to sit out the trip to Upton Park next weekend but now Ancelotti says Lampard will be ready to return.
The Italian said in the Daily Star on Sunday: “For sure, Frank will be fit for the West Ham game.
“After the Stoke game, Frank was in a lot of pain.
“So he decided, after talking to the club doctor, to resolve and remove the problem immediately.”
Chelsea have made a fantastic start to the Premier League season, winning their first three games and scoring 14 goals in the process without conceding at the other end.
