Guardiola expects Milan to score

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola believes his team will have to score at least twice against AC Milan on Tuesday to progress to the semi-finals of the Champions League (Barcelona 1/4, AC Milan 11/1, draw 5/1 Match Prices).

The Catalans were held to a goalless draw by Milan in the first leg at the San Siro as the hard-working Italians stifled the threat of the world?s best player, Lionel Messi.

Preventing the La Liga giants from scoring an away goal was seen as a real coup, given the fact that a solitary Milan strike at the Nou Camp will mean the hosts have to score twice.

And that is exactly what Guardiola feels will happen and he wants his men to be sharp right from the world go to make sure that they score at least two goals in the match to progress (Over 3.5 Goals 5/4).

“I take it as a given that Milan will score against us,” he said. “That’s why we need to be very sharp on the attack and make the most of the chances we create.”

Barca are widely regarded as the best club side on the planet, despite the fact that they trail Real Madrid by six points in the race for the Spanish title.

They have carved teams apart at home all season, with Messi at the heart of most of their attacking brilliance.

But he was kept under control in the first leg as the Serie A leaders went into the game with a specific plan for the Argentinian.

It remains to be seen if their can shackle him twice, as many have tried but few have succeeded at the home of the European champions.
