Terry out to win it for Blues boss

Chelsea skipper John Terry has called on his players to win the FA Cup final on Saturday for their interim manager Roberto di Matteo, who has worked wonders since taking up the hot seat at Stamford Bridge (Chelsea 6/4, draw 9/4, Liverpool 2/1 Match Betting).

The Blues face Liverpool at Wembley with the Reds going in search of their second piece of silverware this season, having already secured the Carling Cup.

Chelsea have some crucial games between now and the end of their campaign, with Saturday’s domestic final and a Champions League final on May 19 to look forward to.

Di Matteo has worked well with the current crop of players at Stamford Bridge, something his predecessor Andre Villas-Boas struggled to achieve during his brief spell in the Premier League.

Terry (25/1 first goalscorer) has now issued a rallying cry to his players to win the FA Cup for the Italian, who is looking to secure the job on a permanent basis.

He said: “To win [the cup] will put himself in a very good position.

“If we can do it with the added bonus that Robbie can get the job at the end, that’d be great.”
