England bolster one-day squad

Craig Kieswetter has received a call-up to join the England (1/4 to win series on outright coupon) squad for the forthcoming one-day international series against Bangladesh.

The Somerset wicketkeeper has impressed playing for England Lions, particularly when getting 81 not out to help them beat the England first XI during the week.

Kieswetter also scored 40no, 77no and 50 in Twenty20 games against Pakistan A and has been rewarded for his performances by a place in the England squad which flies out for the series in Bangladesh (5/2 to win series on outright coupon) today.

“I’m delighted to have been called into the one-day squad and I’m excited about the opportunity to tour Bangladesh with the England team,” said Kieswetter.

“I’ve worked very hard over the course of the winter as part of the England Performance Programme and have been especially pleased with my recent form on the England Lions tour to the UAE.”

The England (10/1 to win 2010 Twenty20 World Cup on tournament coupon) side fly to Dhaka today after drawing the Twenty20 series against Pakistan 1-1 following defeat on Saturday.
