Nottingham fighter Carl Froch (9/4 Outright Winner) has revealed he has no qualms about fighting fire with fire if he is drawn into a dirty fight with Andre Ward on Saturday.
The two boxers will go head-to-head in New Jersey in a world-title unification bout this weekend in a much anticipated fight.
Froch has become one of the big names of British boxing and a win Stateside in the Super Six Final would give him worldwide acclaim.
The 34-year-old is full of confidence ahead of the showdown and believes he can ‘mix it’ with Ward (1/3 Outright Winner) if the American attempts some unsavory tactics.
He said: “He is a very dirty fighter – because he doesn’t have the power he tries to use his head and hold.
“If he decides to make it dirty, I am happy to oblige and mix it with him.
“The reason I am confident is that I have prepared meticulously. I feel the same as when I beat Arthur Abraham and that was a one-sided shut-out victory.”
