Joshua Clottey has promised his followers he will take the fight to P4P king and favourite Manny Pacquiao when they meet in Dallas on Saturday (Clottey 6/1 Tko Or Disqualification).
The Bronx-based former IBF light welterweight champion is a big underdog (41/10 – fight prices) to stop the Filipino superstar at the new $1.1 billion Cowboys Stadium in Texas.
The Ghanaian has never been stopped inside the distance but Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, has said his charge plans to launch an all-out assault on Clottey’s body for the WBO light welterweight title.
Clottey says he has his game-plan worked out in his own mind and says he does not intend to hold back.
He said: “I’m always coming forward to face my opponent and fight like a man, not like I just come in like that, I come forward with timing.
“Everything is in my head, I’m always looking, and the truth is I’m a forward fighter.”
