Yesterday I played my longest poker session in a long time, over 2,500 hands, and it was a real roller coaster affair even if I do saw so myself. Early in the session I really felt in the zone and was making some great reads and plays but as the session edged towards the end, I started to play badly and lost nearly all my profits for the day.
At one point I was six buy-ins to the good and I also cleared two portions of a sign-up bonus so confidence and my bankroll was at a high. However, I managed to drop four and a half buy-ins in 500 hands to leave me with just one and a half buy-ins profit for the day.
Whilst I plan on playing a fair few hands at some point today, it will probably not be half as many as yesterday’s figure, especially as I felt really tired towards the end which explains, to some degree, why I lost the majority of my profit in such a short time.
