British poker player arrested for alleged murder!

A British poker player, who has won over $250,000 in live tournaments, has been arrested at his Kidderminster home charged with the murder of his wife of 20 years.

Marcus Bebb-Jones, 46, is accused of murdering his wife, Sabrina Bebb-Jones, 31, and burying here in an American National Park. It is alledged that Mr Bebb-Jones, killed his wife, buried the body then used her credit cards to go on a “playboy weekend” before attempting to take his own life.

Mr Bebb-Jones tried to kill himself by putting a loaded gun into his mouth and pulling the trigger but his attempt at suicide failed and he was left win non-life threatening injuries.

Police discovered a human skull in a Colorado park back in 2004 and after an intensive investigation police decided they had enough evidence to charge Marcus Bebb-Jones with murder and have asked the British government to extradite him to the USA.

Aron Watkins of the prosecution team said in an emergency extradition meeting that Marcus Bebb-Jones’ crime was so bad that he would face life imprisonment with zero chance of him ever being eligible for parole.

Mr Bebb-Jones has now been remanded in custody until November 26.
